Black joy is a form of resistance. To choose to enjoy any aspect of your life, if only for a moment, is a practice of putting into the practice the possibility of a world where we get to experience joy, healing and empowerment regularly, every day. This workshop will take participants on a journey with the works of some inspiring Black women's writing, exercises to tap into your personal joy and space to be in community with others looking to do the same.
